Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Funding

On behalf of the Village of Indiantown, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Governor Ron DeSantis for his steadfast leadership in securing $46 million in funding to support the Village’s new reverse osmosis water treatment plant. This critical funding to the Village will ensure long-term benefits to all residents that will provide a reliable and clean source of drinking water to everyone in the Village. The new reverse osmosis facility will enhance our overall infrastructure, provide sustainability and support growth for new jobs and attainable housing.

The Governor’s commitment in utilizing alternative water supplies for the protection of Florida’s water resources and providing funding for essential small rural infrastructure improvements is greatly appreciated. These funds will have an unmeasurable impact on our community, and for that we are truly grateful for your continued support and vision that will provide long-term benefits to our community for years to come. All of us here at the Village would also like to thank other supporters for this funding. Our State Legislature Delegates; Senator Gayle Harrell, Representative Toby Overdorf, and Representative John Snyder; our Village Council Members: Mayor Carmine Dipaolo, Vice Mayor Phyllis Waters Brown, Council Members; Vernestine Williams-Palmer, Angelina Perez and Karen Onsager; Community Leaders; along with our Village Staff. All of us here at the Village want to thank you again for your continued dedication and support to the people of Florida, along with your commitment to ensuring all communities provide safe, reliable and clean water for their use.
