Water service is beginning to be restored throughout the Village as utility crews continue working to stabilize the water system and restore normal water pressure. While service is returning, the loss of water pressure throughout the distribution system requires the Village to issue a Mandatory Boil Water Notice for all Village of Indiantown water customers until further notice.
As a precaution, residents should bring all water intended for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or food preparation to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use. This advisory will remain in effect until the Village completes the required water quality testing and confirms that the water system is safe for normal use. Residents will be notified immediately once the advisory has been lifted.
If residents experience a water emergency after normal business hours, they are encouraged to contact the Village Utilities After-Hours Emergency Line at
(772) 597-2122
.
The Village would like to extend its sincere appreciation to our dedicated Utilities Department staff and emergency personnel who have worked tirelessly throughout this incident. Their professionalism, quick response, and commitment to restoring service have been instrumental in returning water to our community as safely and efficiently as possible.
