DEO - CDBG-CV: Pedestrian & Sidewalk Master Plan Hearing Notice Information

The Village of Indiantown is applying to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunities (DEO) Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) program. The application will request funding for the Village to develop a Pedestrian & Sidewalk Master Plan and associated documentation.

Pursuant to this, a Public Hearing Notice has been published and is provided below for review and distribution in English and Spanish.

The Village of Indiantown is considering submitting an application to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) for a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant in the Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) Application cycle. A total of $41,931,595.00 is being made available through a competitive application process to local governments who are eligible to participate in the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program within the State of Florida. The minimum amount a community may apply for is two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00), the maximum amount a community may apply for is five million dollars ($5,000,000.00). The Village may submit only one application for a single project or program.

The public hearing to receive citizen views concerning the community's housing, economic and other community development needs related to the coronavirus will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 6:30 PM or as soon as possible thereafter during a regular Indiantown Village Council meeting to be held at the Indiantown Village Hall Council Chambers, 15516 SW Osceola Street, Suite C, Indiantown, FL 34956.
